A great place to relax, swim, and have lunch. Beach is fairly good, and there is a big area for swimming and the rest for fishing. Only complaint is the bathroom stall locks don't work on most, and will swing open if you don't hold it closed.
We love taking the paddle boards out. The sand is not soft but it's doable. Usually less crowded than some reservoirs but I've seen it on a busy day and it's still okay. There is clay in the sand which the kids like to look for.
Great place for swimming. Trees are a bit young so bring your own shade. There's an area blocked off just for swimming, the rest is for fishing or paddle boats, etc...
Beautiful area, lots of fun for kids. But there is too much construction going on next door and it blows dirt all over us when we're sitting by the water. There's also very little shade.
Fun place to go for swimming and fishing. There is enough room to use kayaks and paddleboards as well. Its a convenient place to beat the heat and let the kids of some fun outside.
